Chevrolet Code 130R

Now I wonder if and when the IDx goes to production if it will inspire chevy to green light their small coupe project the Code 103R?

you have to figure that competition can only make you stronger, and a true budget rival from Chevrolet (potentially Toyota as well) could really go a long way into getting Nissan to take the IDx seriously.

the 130 wasn't the only one either, they've also showed the 140S based on the same bones..

If there is enough of a market for them I think Chevy will have no choice but to. Right now with only the FRS in the game there is very little incentive to participate. Chevy is very much a me too company...

I wouldn't be interested in either of those. They are really rounded, especially at the hood. The rounded hood like that reminds me of a city car way too much. There are some cool design elements to the 140 though. The headlights look pretty cool.

When were these concepts originally debuted? They aren't neo-retro like the IDx is, but I take it that you think they would be competing in the same segment anyways. I'm just not sure if there would be a huge amount of interest in these models. They aren't really doing it for me.

the code 130 has a bunch of first gen 1 series to it in all honesty and those seem to sell relatively well What does retro have to do with anything, there is no retro segment that we can shove all the throwbacks into. Design is subjective for buyers and stylists...

Did chevy even say that they have plans to bring these cars to production?
I remember them being at shows years ago and ever since there has been nothing on them
