2017 Nissan GT-R mule spied

Check out these spy shots of the Nissan GT-R prototype in Europe. It has a heavily camouflaged front bumper , and could be a facelifted version of the current model or a mule for the next-generation GT-R.

The next-generation GT-R is expected to be heavily influenced by the Concept 2020 Vision Gran Turismo which was unveiled earlier this year. The next-gen GT-R is rumored to have a hybridized powertrain too. Its though to be a 650 bhp twin-turbo 3.8-liter V6 and a 134 bhp electric motor.

I read from other sources that it was just a facelift for one of the outgoing year models.
Then next generation model is supposed to get revamped like crazy.

I think that makes sense because if it was the next gen model I think that there would be more camo on the mule.

But maybe we're wrong, if it really is for the 2017 year model then who knows, this could be a test mule of the next generation version with not as many new components. Who knows, if someone was able to snap some interior shots....just maybe we'll see something different going on in their.

Its also possible that they are testing for the next generation model and just have a older body on the outside to throw us off.

That's what I was thinking. It's not going to be easy getting to know what's really up with this.

As more information on the next version comes out, maybe this could start making sense.

You're not going to see the next gen GTR for at least another 3 years, if not more... This is not the next generaton, this is the current generation testing tweaks...

The current GT-R, although it received a major update this year, is now seven years along in its product cycle; and a next-generation GT-R, while under development, is still at least three years out.

That's what i was thinking, this would be too top secret of a project to be out like this espeically with the direction i heard they want to go with the next GT-R.

So the tweaks are just for the facelift or update?

I still think that it could be the next generation model with a different body on to throw us off.
