IDx production model.....can't wait!!!

Hey guys,
New here but not new to the world of Nissans.
I always liked the classic Datsun 510 but didn't want to own a car as old as it is, my 95 240sx was already old enough for me. Looking forward to seeing what Nissan does to the IDx to take it from concept to production, just maybe it will be my next 2 door.

They are hard to not love!

Mine was an S14, S13 was the generation before. Sounds like you're a bit familiar with these cars. What vehicles have you owned? Any Nissan's? Datun?

S14s are awesome. It's just too bad that most of them out there these days are totally trashed. I cannot even remember the last time I saw a clean one out on the road.

A buddy of mine in college and I would go out into the rural Appalachians and have a ton of fun in his Kouki S14. So tossable.

I have an Infiniti G20 now, which is really a Nissan Almera / Nissan Pulsar of early 1990s design, so I appreciate Nissans. I have never owned a sports car myself so that's why I'm looking forward to this new IDx.

them being trashed can either be a good or bad thing depending on what you want to do with one of them and a trashed one can be great as a drift missile, but clean ones are out there if you have the time and money for one.

Thankfully we can import ones from japan, only issue is the 25 import rule that applies to importing from japan, still an avenue i would take up if i was looking for a mint condition one.

how long have you owned your G20 and how are you liking it so far? any pictures?

I think you would fit in the idx perfectly. This sports car even comes with a cvt transmission so you can flip through the gears easily

I hope your just speaking in jest or will have to form a petition to facilitate your instant removal from the site and black listed on Nissans database.

Thank you for your cooperation in the mater,

IDx Faithful.

Is that purple color really rare? Is there a particular reason why it is so rare, or was it just that less of them were made in the first place?

I know for a fact that it's really rare since I have been around a number of 240 owners and do browse the 240 forums a lot and know this color is really uncommon.
any idea what production numbers were like for it?
