Nissan Releases a Teaser for its Super Bowl Ad

I guess that companies releasing teasers for their Super Bowl ads is a thing that companies do now. Nissan is the latest to publish a teaser online. The 13 second clip shows parents taking care of a new baby and some shots of Nissan race cars. Guess we will see at the Super Bowl how that all is going to come together. The spot is called "With Dad".

Due to the nature of super bowl commercials, I'm not sure if that was their aim here, to make you buy a Nissan, one thing for sure is it's a branding effort.

but in doing that, they are trying to get you to buy, just that they have to do it in such a way that sticks along the lines of what's expected of a super bowl commercial

True, you have a point, i guess it's seen as a not so pushy way of selling to folks since that's what i'm getting out of this.

The commercial really tries to play to people's real life experiences (parenthood, adolescence, etc...) I think that is really effective. Makes the brand seem like something that is meant for you, meant for real people.

Good way to put it.
Relating to people in that way with a product like this was a great move.

Yea, I think that can be more effective than commercials that make their products seem larger than life. Those commercials have the problem of not being that relatable. People think, "well that seems too good to be true."
