If they want to undercut the FR-S and BRZ and go for some really competitive pricing with a value packed product... this is one of those ways to make it even more of a reality.

GM is still one of the best product companies in the league when they want to put their heads down and do it right. Look at the new Vette and what they've been doing with Cadillac. Ok so cars like the Sonic are unimpressive, but arent most compacts anyways

Competition breeds better product, hands down...

I think that GM has made some severe errors recently and its products are good but not amazing. Its not that I hate GM, but I think that I like a lot of other car companies better than GM.

Too bad that their sales haven't suffered. I just worry that means they won't do anything to change their behavior.
